17th to 20th July, Harrogate Crimewriters Festival, Harrogate

As chairman of this year's event, which features such prestigious authors as Andy McNab, Tess Gerrison, Robert Crais and Peter Robinson, I'll be about all weekend- doubtless, at times, looking extremely flustered. However, this is always a great event where fans are able to freely mix with the writers in attendance, so come if you can. You'll enjoy it. Honest.

Wednesday 23rd July, Waterstones, Milton Keynes, 6.30 pm

I'll be giving a talk and taking any questions the audience can throw at me, and of course, signing some books (assuming people buy any. Tickets are £2 but redeemable against any book purchase you make on the evening. For tickets/enquiries call 01908 395384. Hope to see you there.

13th September 2008, Reading Festival of Crime Writing

I'll be on a panel entitled MURDER MYSTERY AND MORALITY with fellow crime writers
John Connor, RJ Ellory and Laura Wilson. We'll be discussing the above and whatever else comes up, while Guy Pringle from newbooks magazine tries to keep order.

It'll be from 11-12.30 at Victoria Hall, Reading Town Hall.
