A man, a woman and a sadistic killer…

THE UNDERCOVER COP
Having worked undercover the last ten years, Sean Egan is used to life on the edge. He's recently infiltrated one of London's most dangerous criminal gangs, and they've just informed him that they want him for a very special job: the daring abduction from police custody of a serial killer known as The Night Creeper.

THE KILLER
Brutally violent yet highly intelligent, The Night Creeper has earned his reputation by torturing five young women to death. Arrested the previous night, he claims that he has a cast-iron alibi for one of the murders, and some highly important information that can prove his innocence – and implicates someone else.

THE POLICEWOMAN
DI Tina Boyd has an instinct for trouble, and a past that continues to haunt her.She was the policewoman who charged The Night Creeper. Now he's been kidnapped, and it's Tina's task to find him. And find him fast, because it's clear that some very dangerous people want to silence him permanently.

A man, a woman and a sadistic killer. As they race towards a terrifying confrontation only one thing is certain: they're all going to have to fight very hard just to stay alive.

I know how you feel with the Egyptian tummy. Just got back from Sharm El Sheikh with a dodgy stomach too. Still had a fantastic holiday. Read THE LAST TEN SECONDS out there, such a brilliant read, and hoping that one of the newest characters (not mentioning who in case I spoil it for others) will make a return in a future book. Looking forward to THE PAYBACK.

Excellent read. The writing, as exciting as usual, improves with each book and is now on par with Ler Child. Already looking forward to your next book with eager anticipation. Lots more please. Ps the darkness of your vigilante cop was a brilliant twist.

Wow - this is brilliant - a book you just can't put down - when you reach the end of each chapter you simply have to read on to find out what's happening. Simon's books are simply the best I have ever read - no other author comes close - when is the next one due Simon?

I have only recently discoveered these fantastic books and I read each one after the other, and as I was reading them, I couldn't decide which was my favourite because they are all equally as good as each other. That all changed with the last 10 seconds This is his best book. I couldn't put it down. Loved it.
