It's a cold November night, and DS Dennis Milne is waiting to kill three unarmed men.
Cynical and jaded, Milne earns money on the side by doing what he does best: punishing the bad guys.
But he's been set up.
This time, instead of shooting drug dealers, he kills two customs officers and an accountant.
The hunter has become the hunted. With his colleagues and his enemies closing in on him, Milne must use all of his skills, just to stay alive.

Wow what a fantastic book - I have read all of Simon Kernicks book. Read one on holiday that had been left in the villa. Upon my return home I purchased all his books to date. Brilliant author that keeps you on the edge of your seat. Was upset about John Gallon though poor Tina..... keep up the good work Simon... I look forward to reading The Last 10 Seconds.. oh and by the way hurry up with the new one!!!!!

All I can say is fantastic thrilling action packed reminded me slightly of DEXTER (TV and Book)where the law man becomes the assasin, and to then buy "A Good day to Die" and see that the story follows on 100% enjoyment.. Cheers Simon

This is a very good read, perhaps not quite as good as relentless but still very much a page turner and has a good plot from the begining to end.
