I only picked up the book because I was wandering in Tesco's and had just finished one. This is the first time I have read anything from this author, it gripped me from page one, needless to say I am hooked and now ploughing through his other books. A great read and highly recommended. keep writing as good as this and you will have a fan for life!!!

This was the first of your books I read I usually read the gangland type you know the ones Rise of the Footsoldier, Gang Wars etc but I found this in asda and found myself doing a few chapters a night which is serious reading for me I'm a chapter a night kind of guy who doesn't spare much time for reading until I found this book I have now read 4 of your books the other 3 over the space of 2 days each when you start you just can't put them down.Keep up the good work.JG

Amazing Book!! I read it in a day... like the rest of them... i cant wait for more to come out. Simon Kernick is my favourite writer never read a better book than his... and i have read alot of books. Xx

Brilliant book with an excellent lead chararcter (Stegs Jenner) whom I hope to see again in a future book. Another Simon Kernick book that kept me awake until the early hours as I could not put it down!
